I just had an interesting happening. Got up early to take a hike in the woods here. Been seeing a lot of deer and deer sign and saw a number this morning- was raining here so my sounds were masked and I got closer to a couple than normal. I stopped for a couple of minutes to whittle with my new izula and suddenly I hear crashing sounds- I look up and it's a doe sprinting almost at me, I have a tree in front of me so she turns and passes three steps away from me, breaks right and hauls on down the path I was on! Got my heart pumping there for a second!
