Boy, am I goofy or what. No, don't answer that, it all worked out.

Went to the Dr Wed for my appointment, only to find out it was for FRIDAY! But the 10am person scheduled didn't show up, so I filled an empty spot which gave them something to do.

My Dr has struck out on his own. He charges a set fee every month to see him, no matter how many times you need/think you need to see him. He takes NO insurance. His meds are cheap. Generic Protonix for Patty, $9.00 for 100 PILLS, a three month supply!

Anyway, he is going to limit his practice to 500 patents, and he at present has 390 and he has only been at this since April 1st.

Anyway, ALL my labs were better than expected and my A1C level in particular was a 6.2, which is just over the line for diabetic. My cholesterol was good and my my average blood sugar was 131. From what I've read, pretty good for a diabetic.

BUT I put on 7 lbs in the last 6 months and Doc said he wants me to loose 20 pounds in the next 6 months.

Other than that, for being an old out of shape fat guy, I'm not doing to bad.
