My sister in laws car (Patty's brothers wife) had tires that were starting to show the belts. Yesterday we put new tires on it for them. Yeah, it cost us some but it wasn't safe to drive and they have NO money.
Today at church Patty asked for prayer for a family that was in financial need. She didn't mention any names or anything. Anyway, after church the pastor took a couple kids home and Patty and I stayed at the church with his wife until he got back. When he came in he said he was glad we were still there that it saved them a trip to our house. He then TOLD Patty that "The Family" was her brother. Well then Patty had to admit it was and told them about us putting tires on her car and that His pickup had tires almost as bad. They wrote them (well Patty actually) a check for $500.00! They put the money we pay him into a "Church" account and use that money to help people out that are not "Scamming the system". Her brother hadn't even told us that he needed tires on his truck until we saw him looking at LT tires yesterday and admitted he needed tires as well.
We are just blown away and so are his brother and wife.
