Had a doctor's appointment this AM so I traveled north first and shot two deer. 30-06, 150 grain. Dropped em cold. small doe and a button buck. the doe went down first and then the buck when he poked his head back around the corner to see why his friend wasn't moving any more. A little high on the shots so it took out the tops of the shoulders and lungs and blew out the spine as well. They never felt a thing. Lost a little of the backstraps, but it's a good tradeoff for absolutely zero suffering.
