I've got a couple Rat Traps from last year's Knob Creek; they're a good, solid knife. They're a bit larger than I normally prefer in a folder, but are very flat so that they ride OK in the pocket. The blade is S30V and easy to open; it's a liner-lock with G10 handles. Some folks don't care for the fact that extra pocket clip mounting holes (to change the carry position) weren't provided. I'd say that if you like a large folder, they were well worth the $138.95 (+6% KY sales tax) I paid, but I wouldn't pay the $200+ I've seen them go for on the secondary market.

Although I said that they were well worth the price, I'd have probably passed if they'd been released by another manufacturer; for me, the attraction was and remains that the Rat Trap is a Busse Kin knife.
