I want different folders for different needs. I carry a spyderco Dyad mini, which with its <2.5" blade is post office and college campus legal.
I also usually have a spyderco pm2 or a kershaw speed bump or a large sebenza for larger tasks or when sheeple aren't involved.

I also do handyman type stuff, during which a beefy fixed blade (s5le / HRLM ) is on my belt, along with leatherman, and usually a spyderco millie, speed bump or pm2.

I prefer all my knives to have steel that holds an edge for a really long time, and ergos that feel good and keep the hot spots away.

For folders, I also swith between thicker blades that I can abuse (ZT/kershaw), and thinner blades that slice well, usually are lighter to carry and pocket better (Spyderco).

And then there's the bob, which in addition to obligatory fixed blade, has a m4 Ritter Grip with wilkins scales, a multitool and a small sak
