My knife collection has become a bit more humble lately. Due to bills I ended up canceling my order for the Kershaw Volt (dang that is a nice knife). Some time ago I puchased a Kershaw JYD II CB blem. Besides the XXXX on the blade I can find nothing wrong with the knife anywhere and it ended up being close to 1/2 price. Nice bargain.

The knife itself is a 'liner lock' but really is more of a frame lock with an outer handle of G10. It opens extremely fast and very smoothly for not even being an assisted opener. The 3.75 inch blade's shape is really nice for a user knife, it has a flat grind and a seemingly strong tip. The blade steel is CPM-D2. I have to say I am really liking it. The edge stays very sharp and does not require tons of effort to sharpen. (I had a ZDP189 blade that I could not get a satisfactory edge on.) I like the knife design enough that I am thinking of getting the smaller 3" frame lock version.
