You taling bout the Button Autos? I believe those use a leaf-spring, there action is a lot slower and weaker. Coil is the only way to go on any auto. Longevity in spring and spring action are both increased. My MT Mini Socom is coiled fired and made in 2005 and the action is still crisp, fast, and hard-hitting.

Hows the blade play on the Infidel. I've heard it's negligible, but I've played with some that have quite a good amount. I've played with 600 dollar MT OTFs and the blade play is unbearable. I'd be afraid to even cut a fruit with one of the MT OTFs.
