I carried an SMF for awhile...bought it because of the positive reviews and not the negatives. However...I later acquired a Hinderer...fast forward a little bit (about 2 years) and I now still have only the one Strider but several Hinderers.

On its own merit, without any hype or comparison to other knives, the Strider is a beefy knife that feels good in the hand...sometimes not great over time / use, but good.

I bought and still own just one with no others planned in the future. It's kinda like a Sebenza, every folding-knife user should experience one for themselves and form their own conclusions.
