I have liked Japanese style blades for years and I have used the Hissatsu (middle one) for over a year now. The blade is not designed for regular EDC tasks of course. The tip is too thin and narrow. It is excellent for what it is designed for though. I have no need for a fighter these days but I still like the style and do use it for some EDC tasks. BTW, the tip has only bitten me twice in all that time. I have recently picked up the Otanashi Noh Ken and, because of the bigger handle and blade, it may become my favorite of the three.
