I hesitate to elaborate on techniques because many begin to question or just plain assume or misassume things.

You, Sir, cannot say too much. You're held in very high reguard and have nothing to prove to anyone. I just know that this is the Internet and people will think whatever they want about words or the person typing them.

BTW...What you described is one half of a Karambit technique I'm familiar with. But complicate things too much and they are more complicated to execute under stress.
