I love the blade on mine. Mine was stiff and hard to open. Also, the linerlock barely engaged. I've had it for nearly a year. I sanded the back of the blade a little and now the lock engages well. The knife has finally "worn in" and opens well. It is a rugged knife with good steel and heavy duty liners. Yes, the belt clip is ugly, but the knife sure cuts well.

My JYDII lock could use a little of that treatment too Vic. It's not that the engagement is bad enough that I don't trust it, it's just not quite perfect <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I've been torn over picking up a JYDII in SG2 steel. It would be fun to try the new steel but the regular steel is very, very good. I really like the blade shape too.
