I'd suggest moving up the quality scale a bit to get something a little tougher in the lock department. The Benchmade Monochrome is priced near the Pika and has a pretty tough framelock. Ditto the JYD2 from Kershaw. If you can spend a little more for a Griptilian you can find one with an Axis lock.

All Spyderco midlocks are not the same. I would favor the metal handled/lined Spydies over the straight FRN for example. The Manix, on the other hand, is the tank of mid locks but is somewhat expensive assuming you can find one.
forget framelocks, makes the knife too thin for my tastes, i have a mini grip and its too small for me, and all griptillians have the axis lock, im leaning towards getting a ozbourne dezigned knife by benchmade i forgot the model
