the byrds are a good buy. they're fully capable, if less refines than than seki and colorado spydies.

i've had a few kershaws and they are great knives, but had better experiences overall with spyderco. the $30 kershaw storm 2 is a large, usa made, frame locking, recurved 13C26 folder which i think holds the benchmark for value priced knives. i actually prefer it to my JYD2. leek rocks em both, gotta get the d2 model.
