Here's the story:

I received a tip from someone on BF that William Henry knives were being discounted. That's not something that happens every day. I was going to be in the neighborhood of the discounter this week so I thought I'd drop by and check them out. Turns out they used to be an authorized William Henry dealer. But they were discounting the knives to their best customers and somehow William Henry got wind of it. The next thing the discounter knew, William Henry was threatening to strip them of their authorized dealer status. The way the shop owner put it to me was, "no one tells me what to sell my merchandise for!" So William Henry took away their authorized dealer status and gave it to another retailer just a few blocks away. The net result is that the discounter decided to close out all of their remaining William Henry inventory and I was able to pick it up for 25% off list price.

The dealer was so upset at William Henry's decision that he gave me a William Henry leather-backed display stand as a parting gift.
