I don't know if Buck invented them or not, but the first lockback knives I ever saw were Bucks. Every good ole boy down here used to carry one in a pouch on his belt. It was THE knife. It's still a good one, IMO.
When I carry a folder camping it is either an old buck 110 or an imperial copy of it.
When I bought the imperial it had a 25 year warranty, it's been up now for a few years
