my problem is this and it is probably my problem alone.

where is the scrapyard equivalent to a folder??? a lot of people will say that if you need strength like that to carry a fixed blade.i dont want to wear a knife on my belt.i want a folding knife with a pocket clip.

i know that BM and strider and ZT make some heavy duty folders but i want something STRONG.

call me nuts but i want a folder with a 1/4in blade and titanium liners almost just as thick.i want a pivot system that is so [censored] strong it hasnt even been fathomed yet.

and while i realize that it will be very thick i dont want it to be huge.8-9in opened,frame lock and why cant a folders blade be made with some type of steel with a rep for strength to go along with the edge holding.can we make a folder with tool steel or is that a crime.let me worry about the corrosion,i'm sick of stainless blades.would INFI make too much sense????

i want the ASH-1 folder or the CGDM folder just not in those lengths.thats too long.

i'm sure blade-tech makes a good knife but are they busse kin quality???

i mean did they bump it up a notch for the rat trap???i dont know,i've never held one.a blade-tech knife with the swamprat name on it just doesnt add up to me. as cool as it is.folders and fixed blades are two different worlds but it couldve been kept in the same ballpark.

almost every single little corner and niche of the knife game/market has been filled in at least a dozen ways.a folder as gaudy,mean,scary,thick,memorable,un-mistakable,legendary and undisputed as the FFFBM,CGDF OR ASH-1 has still yet to show.when it does i will be their with my credit card in hand and 3-4 of them in my cart.
