figured it would be the battery. i actually like the longer housing but if the performance is that much better with the cr123a, they're the same price anyway

another reason i've been avoiding this light: i'm afraid it' a gateway drug. first i get the l2d q5, the the p3d, then the g2 nitrolon led, thn the cr2 ion...never ends.

mayb i can trade a knife for it. then it'll kinda still be a knife buy.
