well a couple days ago I bought a knife I'd been eyeing for a few years.
A ZT 0300. I always wanted to handle one, but the price has been prohibitive. Well, I snagged one on the exchange for $110, albeit stripped, scratched and dull.

Problem with Cali is that fixed blades are felonies unless carried in plain sight, and the law gives one example of plain sight as being on a belt and so dumbass LEOs will claim felony if it's ANYWHERE NOT on the belt, despite legal precedences. Other dumbass LEOs will harass you if they see you with it on the belt. Can't win either way. (I am a law abiding citizen and am VERY grateful for the service of honest, law abiding LEO's in their daily efforts. It's the unscrupulous or ignorant ones that I am referencing in the above paragraph)

So much of my knife money as of late has been going to folders since I don't feel like getting harassed anymore.
That and the half dozen Busse and bussekin fixed blades that fill my toolbox, safe, and bob pretty much have my fixed blades needs covered.
