Yea... I'm not gonna say any more about MTs OTFs.

Though actually, many Double Action OTFs obtain this characteristic after being fired so many times. So I can't really blame MT. I've handled Infidels with the same side-side, up-and-down blade play (though not to the extent of the MTs). While I was at a knife cutlery store, they had the Full Size Troodon. Massive @$$ freakin' of a knife. Almost, and maybe, the size of my Rukus. This thing was massive. I was like, "This thing must be built like a tank!" First thing I did was check blade play. As usual with MT D/A OTFs, blade play all across the board. You could definitely feel it and see it.

The charge handle models are much simpler (as darn complex as they are) and much less prone to blade-play, a lot less wiggle room due the the firing system. I honestly really like the HALO series and will drop a few hundred to get one in black tanto PE or SE. Though my SOCOMs will suffice for the moment.

Look at this HALO

I do love their SOCOM Elites (at least when the QC was still decent) and will post more pics. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> (just to make EMF mad with envy)
