First and foremost, I feel the best action you can take when you are concerned about a post or thread is send a note to a moderator or use the report button.

Unless I am directed otherwise by Dan or they overwhelm the forum, a folder discussion doesn't seem to be bad to me. With the Rat Trap being the only exception, from my viewpoint folders do not and cannot compete with what Dan & Jerry bring to the table.

A nice folder to me, complements the great knives from the Yard & from Jerry. Kind of like icing on a cake. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

If the discussion was to stray into folders that are designed & try to replace fixed blade knives, then that would be a different situation.

This doesn't give everyone carte blanch to point a half a dozen folder threads though! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
