You are not alone, many very good rounds die off quickly for no other reason then they are not the "right caliber"
In North America 8mm, 33 cal, 35 cal generally don't sell well.
We literally have dozens of different 30 caliber options in North America when logical sense would say that really we need less than a tenth of that number
