Nikons are good cameras, but they are not better or worse. Both brand have their strong points. Canon tends to be more durable, so the Marine Corps has a contract with them. They even make digital camo lenses and bodies just for us.
Well that's interesting to know, about the camo stuff. I thought you were issued Nikon equipment is why I said that. Or maybe your old personal equipment was Nikon?
