I know this is nothing for you, but for a fat, old out of shape chairman, I feel pretty good about it.

I'm up to a mile and a half at 2.5-3mph with a 5-6 degree incline on the treadmill. I walk for 30 minutes and I can tell that I am improving, I'm not as whupped afterward as I was just a week ago. I am afraid to run on it, even though they say it SHOULD hold up. Just something about having a 6ft 272 pound old guy running on it bothers me.
