I've seen it. My mother has CP, my brother to a lesser extent, my Aunt, and worst of all my cousin. She has Reflex Sympathetic Disorder (RSD.) I wouldn't recommend looking up the symptoms of it. She became symptomatic when she was just 28, and has been in bed for about 6 years.
I truly feel for ya man. I hope things get better.
RSD? Man, don't know what it is, but it sure sounds bad!
It's constant 8-10/10 nerve pain. My cousin describes it as the feeling of a branding iron on you constantly, sometimes all over your body. No joke, she was on every pain killer, enough to take down a rhino, and she was still in pain. It can happen as the result of an injury, which in her case happened at work. Luckily, that meant workmans comp covered her for a long time and then eventually settled. She now is in a program where she does treatments where they fill her with massive amounts of ketamine for days several days straight. It puts the disease into remission for a couple months at best. It is a very rare and interesting disease (and devastating of course.) If you're into learning about medicine, I would definitely recommend reading into it.
Anyways, CP is CP and it is no fun no matter what the issue is.
