guess i should be more detailed. I picked up a kelty lumbar pack, 750ci capacity, and filled it with a relatively complete kit (comfort oriented, not survival) with about half of the bag still available for food.

i'd like to fit as many meals as possible into a nalgene bottle, which will double as the bear canister.
