Randy the state says your weapon must be in a holster when on your person and they were not considering the clip to qualify as a holster it was going to the state supreme court for clarification and if found guilty they would loose their right to carry, i chose to take mine off until they get it right, i liked using it at night when i would have to go out side or even down stairs it just clipped to my jeans or shorts without a belt or holster .
