Most of the talk about why one cartridge is better than another is really just talk. For deer hunting in my area anything in the 270, 38, 30/06 class of firearms are really pretty much the same. My 30/30 and 44 marlin are just as good for 80% of the hunting I do
Same here. I'd be pretty happy with just those two guns in this part of the world.
