I feel for your whole congregation.
Sometimes doing the right thing is so much more difficult that doing nothing.
Even though I am a non-believer I do have a great deal of respect for those that do believe (fanatics aside of course)
A church is built on a foundation of a strong congregation.
A pastor is a pillar that joins the foundation and church together.
It seems like your pillar is broken and needs to be repaired or replaced
