Ain't that the truth. My wife just doesn't understand it, but I'm always grinning when I get off the bike.

I wear a half helmet, and I've gotten popped by a few bugs. My windshield deflects most of them.
A few years ago, a buddy of mine rode through a honeybee swarm. That didn't turn out so good, but he kept it upright til he got stopped. Didn't bother with a kickstand though, just dropped it and ran.
