I just picked up my Spikes Honey Badger lower (I generally don't go for the tacticool themed gun parts, but I couldn't help myself with this particular one. And the price was right.) and I can tell you right now I like my BCM lower more. The BCM has a nice, smooth anodized finish and the Spikes has a very flat Cerakote (I think) finish. Feels like a chalk board, but maybe even flatter. If I would've had a chance to handle it first I don't think I would've bought it.

I have no doubt that it is a top quality lower, this is just a personal preference thing. I'll keep it, but from here on out it is BCM all the way for me.

I'm still not sure if I'm going to build a 6.8 SPC hunting rifle or a .300 BLK pistol with it. I will probably stick with the Honey Badger theme and go the pistol route. I'll SBR it at some point.
