RN, I saw were you were letting the 527 go. sucks it didn't stick with you. I haven't gotten any amazing accuracy out of mines but it's been plenty accurate for deer and it's light so it's a keeper.

There was only a couple rifles I wanted as much as the CZ527 and one was a Ruger 77/357. Reason I'm mentioning it is if you are looking at a SP101 you may consider a 77/357 down the road to replace the 527. This would give you a matching rifle and pistol combo and you'd still have a nice intermediate woods bolt rifle for when the kids get older.
