The FNP has been great. It's a much better shooter than I am. It I a pleasure to shoot and I was really surprised at how well I did with it. My FiveSeven was a laser and I was actually right in there with the FNP.

I hadn't given much thought to the FNP as a "go to" because I just never had much interest in .45 acp. It's also a fairly large pistol and not one you'd really want to carry concealed unless you just had to. But it really has been a reliable firearm so far. Seeing it next to the SCAR made me realize I should consider taking steps to have it higher on the list of SHTF options than it has been. .45 acp will most likely never be my primary pistol caliber but I can totally see having it next to .308 for a "heavy hitter" combo.

I still think a x39 and 9mm combo will be what I end up with as the main shooters but I think I will go ahead invest a little more into the SCAR17 and FNP45 pairing for now.
