Can you run a rifle length gas system on a carbine lower? If not what do you need to change to make it happen?
The lower has very little impact on function. The only component in the lower that has an impact on function is the weight of the buffer.
Most people use an H or H2 buffer in a carbine length system, and a carbine or H in a midlength. A 16" barrel with a regular fixed stock would be a carbine buffer solution.
