If I read right ISSC has something to do with both the RX22 and the MK22. But it seems the Anschutz version has a better barrel, trigger group, and overall better build the the MK22. I was seeing the MK22 for $199 but all the reviews were either made or mixed. While looking at the MK22 I stumbled across the Anschutz version for $299 which seems to get pretty good reviews. With the better barrel they are some folks saying it's on par with what can be expected from Anshcutz.

I want a tactical .22 just for giggles but I also want a practical .22 like the 10/22. I thought about just having two 10/22 rifles. One with a fancy stock and One TD but with all the new tactical guns I'm sort of taking the bait. I realize these tacticool firearms will likely become obsolete and the parts will be hard to come by. But I don't intend them as my go to for anything other than range and recreation.
