my only issue with this setup would be I would be REALLY worried in a high stress situation I might accidentally pull the trigger I hadn't intended. I'd still get a flash, but with a bang and a zip... but I have quibbles with pointing a "loaded flashlight" at someone to begin with. Especially since I regularly train to shoot left handed effectively, I'm used to pulling triggers with both hands. I think for me, having a different method of light activation adds that extra measure of safety for a tenuous situation.
