Oh and I should say that 45K rounds through a 45acp barrel sounded like A LOT to me. But what do I know.
The HK45 and USP45 series have an expected service life of 45-65,000 rounds.
Their manual specifically states you ARE PERMITTED to use +P and +P+ ammo. I've never seen another manufacturer state this.
