You thinking something specialized for these, or something more rounded. I tend to lean toward more rounded so I would go 7mm rem mag and 22-250. Just my personal preference.


I'm leaning towards .300wm for the 600+ capable rifle. In particular I'm wanting a CZ UHR with a composite stock that I can top with the Swarovski 2.5-15x56 scope I bought a while back. This should cover the top end of anything I could want to shoot out to way past where I could want to shoot it.

I really don't do any sort of varminting so it's just another rifle to get I guess lol... The Savage 116 caught my eye as I don't have anything stainless in my collection. But a varmint rifle is actually pretty low on the list. I would probably look at something like 22-250 or .243 if I get serious about it.
