I have a 300 H&H. Not as big, but more than enough for anything in NA, SA, Australia, Europe, Antarctica, Asia and most of Africa. It'll put a hurt on ya.

I had that same love affair with the 45-70: it won't kill things deader than a 30-06 or anything else I have, but I couldn't rest until I had one or two.

Starting to feel that way about the 300 BLK now...
