Yes the Poyer/Onyx rifles do draw a premium in the US, even with the safety sear deleted. The Century LEO L1A1s are a bit grey for most as well.

Both my L1A1s (a standard and an F1) wore British/Kiwi plastics and had the pins added to enable the BHO to function on an empty magazine. Mine also had Hythe rear sight (but not front sights as they were just too boxey for my liking) !! A few good smacks with a hammer and punch worked wonders for upper/lower play and giving the rear sight a squeeze in the vice helped the bit of wobble on the rear sight. Watching so modified L1A1s shooting at the AASAM (Australian Army Skill At Arms Meeting) against all manner of international teams always reminded my what a capable rifle it was
