what do you need to know? you probably want to get a interface packaged with software first. oh, and don't sleep on garageband. cubase le/ai is packaged with a ton of interfaces... cheap side there's reaper... i'm liking the presonus stuff but they started packing their own software and even though i have it i forgot the activation and since i'm not at that job any more i hate to call and ask to test it out. i think they would be cool but i hate to do it.
