I find that the EoTech reticle is great of accuracy at range, with the one MOA dot, and the big circle helps to frame a target when used for rapid acquisition. I find that in high stress encounters my precise coordination goes out the window, so personally, I wouldn't want to bother with a switch in case I forget to turn it on. To me, the 6.5 MOA dot on the trijicon is just too big. It's like painting your target with a spotlight, lol. Aimpoint has the market for battery life cornered, if that may be an option too. I think the Micro T-1 has a battery life of over 8 years constant on at level 8 of 12. Overall though, if it were me making the decision, I'd go with the EoTech.
