Ishi has a good point, the half and half can make for an overpowering drink, expecially if you wind up mixing alcohols. Ever had a Green Fairy (absinthe), and then turned around and had a White Russian? BAAAAD JUJU! of course, absinthe doesn't really mix well with anything else except for maybe mountain dew (it's the green color, I think) Like he said, tailor it to your tastes. I use a pinch less vodka and a tad more kahlua personally.
