I'm in the Army, currently in the reserves. I'm pushing a packet to go active duty, but at the rate my commander keeps coming up with excuses why not, the war will be over before I get on active. I might have to wait until they put me into the Individual Ready Reserve and just go talk to a recruiter. She definitely stands to make a lot better money in the nursing field, lol. My mother is an RN, and she makes 4x what I make at my civilian job in 3 days of work, something like 32$ an hour... If only I could stomach that job.
