The 226 is a great gun! My first pistol was the 228 (compact vs full size) I put over 25000 round through that gun in the first 4 years I had it. Never a miss-feed, never a jam, never a problem. Those were all sorts of loads too, lots of reloads, cheap ammo, hot Corbon stuff, and everything in between.

My buddy had the 226 and I shot lights out with it. Get the 226 you wont regret it.
