I wouldn't want to mess with a serious bite thats for sure.

Worst bite I ever saw was my dad got bit by a Brown Recluse. The bitten area turned ...necrotic?....the muscle tissue died out around the bite. It was nasty for a few weeks, didn't know how much permanant damage there was. Turned out ok, thankfully.
