Handguns are too personal to provide specific enough feedback that would help you make a practical decision. For Semi-9mm's, I've owned Sigs, H&K's, and Glocks. All I own now, are Glocks. The reason...it shoots better for me, in my hands. It fits me well, and is extremely dependable (as they all are). I actually had more FTF / FTE from my Sig than any of them. The H&K was nice, but still required babying to keep it clean enough to run. The Glock reminds me of an AK of sorts....just keeps on ticking. It ain't pretty, but that's part of what I love about it.

Best recommendation I ever had anyone give me....find either a) indoor range where you can rent multiple models and try them for yourself (to see what fits your hand / trigger pull / accuracy), or b) get to know some folks on FSN or the range and politely request to shoot their pistols of different configurations. Most people are accommodating and willing to help interested shooters....just offer to buy some ammo for them.
