Lazi, do you have Salt and Pepper catfish? They mix heavy doses of both into the breading before cooking. I don't like it myself, but it's pretty popular around here.

can't say I've had it with heavy doses of salt and pepper. usually just breaded and fried. but I like thick and thin fillets and whole fish. Man I really wanting a catfish poboy right know.

Catfish poboy? That would really go down well right now. Can't eat the whole fish, too many bones for me, but I really really like the filets fried in the House Autry breading.
