I have been debating throwing a pair of Dana 60's on mine and some 37's but If I did that I would probably go all out and make it a dedicated rock rig.
my plan is one i am finished paying my daughters university (a year from now), i want to either replace the 4.2 with a 4.0 or put a 4.0L head and injection system on my 4.2L engine.
Replace the rear end with an 8.8 explorer rear end and get a dana 44 for the front end.
Put 4.56 or 4.88 gears in both with a soft lock in the rear and an arb locker up front.
That will take a couple of years

I hear there was a drop in conversion kit to throw a 6.1 L hemi in those things. That would be crazy!!
i know my friends that have the 350's and 360 engines in their jeeps use about twice the gas I do, but they also run 35 inch and bigger tires, my baby jeep only goes 75 to 80% of the places they go
