My ex told me to sop going to the farmer's market so early, and to go there just when the farmer's are packing up to leave. She said that the farmer's don't want to take the produce back home with them, and they'll sell it to you, for much less than usual. She was right. I picked up about 10 pounds of ripe, organic strawberries, for $8. So, now I'm feasting on berries and cream, with a dash of maple syrup.
